Thomas Meilleur-Giguere opened the scoring for the hosts in only the second minute. But Brian Wright equalized seven minutes later. Neither side manage to find a winner from there.

“At the end of the day, we had two opportunities to finish the game, and we couldn’t do it,” said Benjamín Mora, York United head coach . “So it’s a game that leaves you with that bitterness in this, in the feeling, because I think we also could have had more points than only one.”
