Atlético Ottawa earned its first point ever with a 2-2 draw against York9 FC at the Canadian Premier League’s Island Games in Prince Edward Island Saturday. The 35-game tournament replaced the league’s original 2020 season after it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March.

Atlético Ottawa let a two-goal league slip after Vashon Neufville received the first red card of the competition. Mohamed Kourouma and Malcolm Isaiah Shaw scored to give Ottawa the lead. But Lowell Wright and Joseph Di Chiara tallied to ensure the points were shared.
