Pacific FC beat Cavalry FC 2-0 in its first Canadian Premier League game at home in nearly two years Friday.
Pacific FC came out fast when Marco Bustos continued his good start to the season scoring in the third minute. Both teams battled it out until the half on a very hot pitch where local temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius.

The second half started out with both teams crafting a couple of chances before Gianni dos Santos doubled the lead in 86th minute. The win moved Pacific within one point of the league leaders Valour who they face this coming week.
