Vancouver Whitecaps lost their Major League Soccer season opener 2-1 against Real Salt Lake at BC Place in Vancouver Saturday.
Javain Brown gave the the hosts the lead 24 minutes into the first half. But Justen Glad and Damir Krellach scored two minutes apart in the second half to ensure the visitors left with all three points.
