Calgary Foothills FC tied with Victoria Highlanders FC 1-1 in their final match of the Premier Development League (PDL) regular season in Calgary Sunday.
Foothills FC led in the match 1-0 on a first half goal by Bruno Zebie, but Highlanders FC pegged back the hosts with an injury-time equalizer.
The draw drops Foothills FC to second place in the Northwest Division behind Portland Timbers U23, who won their final match against Lane United later in the day. The two clubs finished equal on points but Portland win the division due to their superior goal difference.

The Calgary club will now have to travel to Oregon to meet the Timbers 23 in the divisional playoff match. Foothills FC would have hosted the match had they earned three points on Sunday afternoon and finished first in the division. The winner of the playoff match will move on to the PDL Western Conference championship playoffs.
