Cavalry FC lifted the Canadian Premier League Shield as CPL regular season champions in front of their home fans following a 3-0 win over Pacific FC at ATCO Field Saturday.

Calgary’s club secured the season title two weeks ago. But they were presented the trophy on their final home game of the regular season.

Daan Klomp, Myer Bevan and Maël Henry scored the goals that ensured the Cavs finished the league season 13 points ahead of their nearest competitor.

Cavalry FC will now face Forge FC in the first semifinal of the Canadian Premier League playoffs at ATCO Field Saturday, Oct. 14.
