Forge FC beat El Salvador’s Club Deportivo Municipal Limeño 2-1 to advance to the Concacaf League round of 16.
Anthony Novak and David Choiniere scored for the visitors while Kevin Arquímides Oviedo tallied for the hosts. The Hamilton club were able to hold on for the victory despite losing Jonathan Grant to a red card in with nearly 30 minutes left to play.
Forge FC will next face Panama’s Tauro in the next round Nov. 3 in Panama City.
