York United and Vancouver FC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Canadian Premier League action in Toronto Sunday.

Markiyan Voytsekhovskyy and Juan Córdova scored for the hosts while Alejandro Díaz and Moses Dyer replied for the hosts ensuring the points were shared.

This was notably first game for York United’s new coach Benjamín Mora.

“I like to win. I like to do things properly. I like to develop a game plan that is sufficient for us to win,” said Mora after the game. “I wanted to give the Pasquel Brothers and Jorge Villalpando three points. That was my job, that was my task, that was my goal.”

“This is only the beginning. We are going to do things that really become history.”
