Vancouver Whitecaps lost the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions League semi-final 2-0 against Mexico club Tigres UANL in Monterrey Tuesday evening.
A Waston own goal in the 66th minute and a Vargas strike in the 87th minute leave the Whitecaps with a fairly steep mountain to climb when the two sides meet again, for the return leg in Vancouver, BC April 5.
