Cavalry FC broke its four-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over HFX Wanderers in Winnipeg Saturday.
The Calgary club secured the three points thanks to goals by Anthony Novak and Ali Musse just before and just after halftime. Samuel Salter responded in the 87th minute, but it was too late for Halifax’s club.
