Uruguay beat Canada 2-0 in an international friendly played in Bratislava, Slovakia Tuesday.
Nicolás de la Cruz opened the scoring for the South Americans with a free kick in the 6th minute. Darwin Núñez doubled the lead with a header in the 33rd minute.
Canada has another friendly scheduled, against Japan, before World Cup 2022 kicks off in Qatar in November.
