Pacific FC announced the signing of Mexican striker Emanuel Montejano ahead of the 2025 Canadian Premier League season. The contract is guaranteed through 2025, with an option for the following season.
The 23-year-old joins Vancouver Island club from Celaya Fútbol Club in Mexico’s Liga de Expansión MX.
“Emanuel comes from a good background and he’s an ambitious, hungry striker wanting to prove himself,” said Pacific FC head coach James Merriman. “He’s very dynamic on and off the ball with good power in front of goal. We believe he can be a big piece for our season as a central striker.”
Montejano came through the Pumas UNAM academy before making 16 appearances for the Liga MX club over four seasons.
The forward has represented Mexico at the U-18 level.
Pacific FC kickoff the 2025 Canadian Premier League season April 5, hosting Valour FC at Starlight Stadium.
