The Vancouver Whitecaps beat defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy 2-1 in their home opening in BC Place Sunday.
Sam Adekugbe and Brian White scored for the hosts, while Gabriel Pec tallied for the visitors.
The Whitecaps now sit second in the MLS Western Conference table on goal difference, after two games.
