Valour FC beat Hamilton’s Forge FC 2-1 in Canadian Premier League action in Winnipeg Sunday.
Winnipeg’s club still sits in seventh place in the CPL table. But Valour is now undefeated in three matches.
Jordan Swibel and Diogo Ressurreição scored for the hosts. Tristan Borges scored the visitors’ lone goal.
“Making this place into a bit of our fortress is our main goal; making it really hard for teams to come here and get results and if they do manage to get a result they’re going to have to fight tooth and nail for it,” said Valour goalscorer Jordi Swibel after the game. “Less travel now and more home games is really playing to our favour.”
