Netherlands beat the United States 3-1 at Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar Saturday to become the first team to advance to the World Cup Qatar 2022 quarterfinals.
Memphis Depay and Daley Blind scored in the first have to give the Oranje a two-goal lead at half-time. Haji Wright gave the Americans hope with a second half goal.
But Denzel Dumphries put the game beyond doubt in the 81st minute.
Netherlands take on Argentina in the quarterfinals later this week.
