Canada beat Cayman Islands 11-0 in 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifying Monday. The win is Canada’s second of the first round of qualifying.
Canada coach John Herdman praised the Canadian’s “ruthless” performance.
Three goals by Lucas Cavallini, two by Alphonso Davies and Mark-Anthony Kaye, and one each for Frank Sturling, Cyle Larin, David Wotherspoon and Alistair Johnston, Canada also set a team record for most goals in a game by a men’s Canada team.
