Forge FC and Vancouver FC played out an entertaining 3-3 Canadian Premier League draw in Hamilton Sunday afternoon.

The home side thought they were on track for three points, but Vancouver FC Gabriel Bitar scored a 91st minute equalizer to ensure the honours were shared.

Earlier Bitar and Alejandro Diaz had scored for Vancouver in the first half. While Malik Owolabi-Belewu, Daniel Parra and David Choirniere scored for the hosts.

The draw was all the more impressive for Vancouver as the visitors needed to contend with a red card to Vasco Fry in the 53rd minute.

“When you look at the clinical finishing, and the two beautiful goals we scored as a team and how efficient we are becoming in front of the goal, I think that’s very, very extraordinary for our league, for our team,” said Vancouver FC head coach Afshin Ghotbi.
